Baker Hughes has appointed a new top finance executive, as the oil-field-services company embarks on the next phase of its transformation plan. Baker Hughes on Monday said Nancy Buese, who joined the Houston company as chief financial officer in November 2022, is leaving by mutual agreement, while company veteran Ahmed Moghal will now serve as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Buese, who previously spent six years as finance chief of gold producer Newmont moved to Baker Hughes as the company was looking to cut costs and boost profits through a reorganization into two business units.
