Forward Air said Jamie Pierson, who was named as interim chief financial officer in May, has been appointed to the permanent role of finance chief. Pierson joined the expedited trucker from MV Transportation, where he also served as CFO. Before that, he served in several leadership positions at companies including Ecobat Technologies and YRC, which later became Yellow, Forward said.
