The Nasdaq Composite brought its winning streak to five days as the stock market rebounded from session lows to salvage a mixed day of trading. Aside from a handful of earnings reports that weighed on individual stocks, there wasn’t much hard data driving the market lower. There’s a sense of nervousness about the October jobs report, the 2024 election, and the earnings reports still to come.
