Futures for the three main U.S. indexes are climbing, but the size of their gains appeared to be limited by severely low trading volumes. Plenty of traders might have taken a long weekend with major exchanges shut for Labor Day on Monday, while the market will also be waiting on PCE inflation data, due out later today.
