Sales associates at two Apple stores in San Francisco on Saturday said some customers mentioned the tariffs as their reason for buying new iPhones. May Lee, a San Francisco resident, said she was already planning to buy a new iPhone in the near term, but decided to purchase it now, ahead of any potential tariffs-related price hikes.
