Salesforce is again in talks to acquire data-management software firm Informatica according to people familiar with the matter, after a deal between the two fizzled last year. Last year, Salesforce was discussing a deal to buy Informatica that could have valued the Redwood City, Calif.-based company in the neighborhood of $10 billion. After the companies couldn’t agree on terms, the talks fell apart, The Wall Street Journal reported last April.
