Asking for a Trend host Josh Lipton previews key events for Thursday, November 21.

On the economic data front, the US initial jobless claims for the week ending November 16 will be released. Economists expect 220,000 claims, a slight increase from last week's 217,000. The October existing home sales report will also be published, with economists estimating a figure of 3.91 million units.

Additionally, two Federal Reserve presidents are scheduled to speak: Cleveland Fed president Beth Hammack and Kansas City Fed president Jeff Schmid. Their remarks will provide further insights into the central bank's potential monetary policy direction.
