UM Recognized for Music Law Programs

In the world of niche recognitions, the University of Miami School of Law is highlighted on Billboard magazine's list of the nation's leading schools for music law programs.

UM Miami Law offers LL.M. and a J.D./LL.M. degrees in entertainment, arts and sports Law. In coordination with UM's Frost School of Music, the law school also offers a J.D./M.M. degree focusing on the music business and entertainment industries and a J.D./M.A. degree in arts presenting and live entertainment management.

The core curriculum includes copyright and trademark law, business associations, antitrust and tax law with internships and industry networking, mentorships, tutorials, guest speakers and membership in its Entertainment and Sports Law Society.

Former Loeb & Loeb partner Harold Flegelman leads the UM law program.
