A new collection of SNG incorporating RPG elements and battle into Wooparoo Land’s beloved collection

SEONGNAM, South Korea, May 30, 2024--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NHN (KRX: 181710, CEO Ujin Chung) has announced the launch of the pre-registration for its new game, ‘Wooparoo Odyssey’, a collection SNG that incorporates RPG elements into ‘Wooparoo Land’. The game is scheduled for release in the second half of this year.

The predecessor, "Wooparoo Land," a highly popular collection-based SNG in Taiwan, allowed players to decorate their charming and beautiful villages with a vast array of adorable Wooparoos.

‘Wooparoo Odyssey’ enhances the core fun of the previous game's Wooparoo collection by incorporating RPG elements and battle, offering a richer and more varied gaming experience. Players can develop their Wooparoos through extensive progression systems including leveling up, promotions, and skill training, developing them into powerful individual combatants with improved status. The game also introduces new features such as guild systems, skin systems, and profile customization, further enriching the social and collection aspects of the gameplay.

The newly added battle content in ‘Wooparoo Odyssey’ features an easy-to-play, fast-paced 3 vs 3 turn-based command battle system. The game offers both PvE (Player versus Environment) and PvP (Player versus Player) modes, allowing players to enjoy the thrill of progressing through stages and enhancing their league standings through battle against other players, all while earning ranking rewards. Additionally, the game incorporates strategic enjoyment by enabling players to build decks that take advantage of their Wooparoos' attributes considering the elemental affinity between Wooparoo attributes, optimizing their chances in battle.

Today, the brand website has been launched along with the start of the pre-registration event. Participants in the pre-registration will enjoy the exclusive opportunity to acquire special Wooparoos through the ‘Wooparoo Draw’, with additional rewards such as Mana Orbs, Food, Gems, and Premium Draw Tickets being offered based on the accumulation of draws.
