The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has announced that it will be closed on Monday, July 3, as part of the Independence Day holiday.

The Southern, Eastern, Northern and Western District courts also will be closed that day.
All city and state courts, including the Court of Appeals, will be open on Monday.

All city, state and federal courts, as well as all government offices, will be closed Tuesday, July 4.
