September jobs report: Yahoo Finance
The highly-anticipated employment report for September will be released Friday morning. Economists expect 150,000 jobs were added in the month and for the unemployment rate to remain unchanged at 4.2%, based on estimates compiled by Bloomberg. The report will not only give more insight into the health of the economy, but also what could lie ahead from the Federal Reserve as its focus shifts from fighting inflation to keeping employment strong.
