Gas prices hit 3-yr low ahead of Thanksgiving
New GasBuddy research indicates 72% of Americans plan to travel by car this Thanksgiving, coinciding with gasoline prices reaching their lowest levels since 2021. GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis Patrick De Haan attributes the price decline to "continued corrections in the US economy" and decreased gasoline demand. He highlights that 31 states now have average gas prices below $3 per gallon. "A lot of folks have been nostalgic for those sub $3 prices and now 90,000 stations across the US are there. I think there's a lot of optimism that inflation has slowed," he tells Yahoo Finance. To watch more expert insights and analysis on the latest market action, check out more Market Domination here.
