Dormakaba targets sales growth in US despite looming tariffs

(Reuters) -Dormakaba expects to keep growing its organic sales in the U.S. even as the Swiss access and security group studies the impact of President Donald Trump's tariffs on its business, its CEO said on Tuesday. U.S. imports from Canada and Mexico are set to be hit by sweeping 25% tariffs when the pause on Trump's plan lapses early next month. Dormakaba, whose entrance systems can be found in venues such as offices, airports and sports stadiums, is also exposed to aluminium and steel imports that are facing 25% tariffs from March 12, Reuter said.
