Bitcoin ETFs showcase the 'versatility' ETFs hold: Strategist
Spot bitcoin ETFs have seen record flows in less than a year of trading. Since Donald Trump's election back to the White House, the 12 ETFs have accumulated approximately $10 billion in inflows, making them the largest holders of bitcoin. J.P. Morgan Chief ETF Strategist Jon Maier joined to discuss the outlook on crypto ETFs. "What it really shows is the versatility of the ETF structure," Maier states. He notes that various asset classes can be integrated into the ETF structure and "infused" into different portfolios. When it comes to asset allocation, "the choice is there," highlighting "the accessibility of the ETF structure." Maier explains: "You're seeing a big shift in the overall asset management business into the ETF space because of that versatility of the structure." He further elaborates, "They're liquid, they're accessible, they're cost-effective, and they're tax-efficient. The superpower really is the tax efficiency. That's what's driving this," he told Yahoo Finance. To watch more expert insights and analysis on the latest market action, check out more Catalysts here. This post was written by Angel Smith
