Marriott Bonvoy Bold welcome offer
When you open a new Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card, you’ll get a two-part bonus after spending $2,000 within the first three months of account opening:
-
60,000 bonus points
-
1 Free Night Award
The Free Night Award is valued at 50,000 points — meaning you can redeem it for one night at a hotel with a redemption level of up to 50,000 points (certain hotels have resort fees). You can’t combine the award with cash when you redeem, but you can combine it with your Marriott Bonvoy points. The award will also expire after 12 months.
Marriott Bonvoy Boundless welcome offer
The two-part Marriott Bonvoy Boundless limited-time offer is a bit different:
-
Earn a $150 statement credit when you make your first purchase within 12 months of account opening
-
Earn 100,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 within three months of account opening
The statement credit portion of this bonus is simple; after you qualify, the credit will be posted to your account. If you have an upcoming trip, this can be a great way to save on travel expenses or help cover part of your regular credit card charges.
On top of that, 100,000 bonus points can also go a long way when you book with Marriott — read more about the potential value down below.

In addition to rewards, it comes with an annual Free Night Award after your account anniversary (worth up to 35,000 points) and a faster path to Elite Status. This includes automatic Silver status and 15 Elite Night Credits each calendar year. When you spend $35,000 on your card in a calendar year you can get Gold status, and you’ll get an additional Elite Night Credit for each $5,000 you spend.
How much are these Marriott Bonvoy credit card offers worth?
Marriott Bonvoy uses dynamic pricing for redemptions, so the value of your points compared to the cash price of a hotel stay will vary. Factors like when you book, the property you choose, when you travel, and other details can all affect the overall value of your redemptions.
But to help illustrate the potential value of these limited-time welcome offers, here’s one example of an upcoming trip.

Marriott Bonvoy Bold
Say you want to spend a long weekend in Atlanta between March 14 and March 17. Over your weekend in Atlanta, you could book three nights at the Courtyard Atlanta Midtown for 91,000 points.
Breaking that down to maximize your Bonvoy Bold card bonus, you might use your Free Night Award for the first night (at a value of 32,000 points), then use your bonus points to book the remaining two nights for a total 59,000 points.
This might not fully maximize your Free Night Award (with a value of up to 50,000 points), but it would help you book the full weekend using only rewards.
Standard rates for the same room for Marriott Bonvoy members average about $165 per night through the weekend, or $496 for the whole stay (when you book a flexible rate).
Marriott Bonvoy Boundless
For the same weekend trip to Atlanta between March 14 and 17, you’ll have even more flexibility if you use the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless welcome offer to book three nights with 100,000 total points. Here are a few examples of what’s available now:
-
Westin Peachtree Plaza: 96,000 total points ($514 if using cash)
-
Atlanta Marriott Marquis: 98,000 total points ($472 if using cash)
-
Epicurean Atlanta, Autograph Collection: 94,000 total points ($1,116 if using cash)
Even for the same weekend and the same city, the potential monetary value of your points fluctuates. To get the most from your award nights, make sure to compare different options and the hotel property that works best for your travel plans.
