BRUSSELS, July 13 (Reuters) - A euro zone summit designed to rescue near-bankrupt Greece paused early on Monday for "final consultations", Malta's prime minister said.

Euro zone leaders were still seeking a breakthrough after some 14 hours of talks in Brussels.

Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat tweeted that the summit was taking an "intermission for final consultations".
