Stocks Hit Session Highs as Trump Speaks in Davos
Stocks rose to their highs of the day after President Donald Trump, while being interviewed in Davos, said that he would "demand" the Fed lower interest rates. The S&P 500 was up 0.1%, while the Dow had gained 0.5%, and the Nasdaq Composite was down 0.2%. In his comments, Trump said lower interest rates will drop around the world if the U.S. goes first.
