The Asian American Bar Association congratulates board member Lawrence Wee on receiving one of the "Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award" from the Asian American Business Development Center. The City Bar Fund of the New York City Bar has elected Robert Cusumano as its new chair. He is currently the executive director of the Legal Horizons Foundation, after serving as global general counsel of the ACE Group, and as a partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. Six new board members were also elected: Ricardo Anzaldua, executive vice president and general counsel, MetLife; Jay Holtmeier, partner, WilmerHale; Lisa Koenig, partner, Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy; Soo-Mi Lee, managing director, global head of regulatory affairs, Morgan Stanley; David Levine, general counsel, Bloomberg; and Audra Soloway, partner, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.
The Children's Law Center, a not-for-profit law firm representing children in custody, visitation, domestic violence, guardianship, paternity, child support and connected child protective cases, has elected Marc Mandelman, a partner at Epstein Becker & Green, to its board of directors.
